This role involves a blend of inpatient hospital care, outpatient clinic responsibilities, and interventional cardiology procedures. Position Details: Profession : Physician Specialty : Interventional Cardiology Location : Near Eugene, OR Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing Shift Type : Day shifts with shared on-call responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical Responsibilities : See inpatient hospital patients Manage outpatient clinic patients Rotate into the cardiac Cath Lab schedule Cover imaging rotation Call Duties : Share general and interventional call on a rotational basis Privileges and Core Responsibilities: Core Privileges Include : Intracoronary foreign body retrieval Intracoronary infusion of thrombolytic medications and other pharmacologic agents Intracoronary mechanical thrombectomy Use of intracoronary stents, balloon angioplasty, and other interventional devices Intracoronary ultrasound (IVUS) and Doppler, flow and pressure wire techniques Management of complications from percutaneous interventional coronary procedures Rotational atherectomy Use of vasoactive agents for managing epicardial and microvascular spasm Radial, femoral, and brachial cannulation for angiography and interventions Interpretation of coronary angiograms, ventriculography, and hemodynamics Intra-aortic balloon pump catheter insertion and post-care management Requirements: Certification : Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology State License : Active Oregon state license required Experience : Proven experience with the core privileges listed above Additional Information: Work Environment : Join a supportive team with a collaborative atmosphere Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and challenging environment while providing high-quality care to patients.
