Job Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and generate business opportunities across Armanino's FAAS practice, including technical accounting, SEC reporting, IPO readiness, operational accounting, financial reporting, and finance transformation services.
  • Build awareness and develop sales opportunities for FAAS and related consulting offerings.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, including CFOs, Controllers, Chief Accounting Officers, Private Equity sponsors, portfolio company executives, and other finance leaders to understand business challenges and align solutions with FAAS offerings.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients and referral sources to ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process for new business opportunities from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, contract negotiations, and close.
  • Aggressively research, identify, contact, and qualify leads related to complex accounting matters, public company readiness, financial reporting requirements, business combinations, and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Continuously build and maintain a robust pipeline aligned to revenue targets.
  • Actively participate in marketing initiatives to generate leads, including industry conferences, executive networking events, webinars, private equity events, and thought leadership programs.
  • Effectively communicate and build ongoing relationships with prospects, clients, and internal personnel through telephone, email, networking, and in-person interactions.
  • Partner closely with internal subject matter experts to deliver compelling, differentiated solutions and proposals.
  • Build awareness and develop sales opportunities for other Armanino service lines, including Audit, Tax, Risk Assurance, Digital Transformation, and Outsourcing Services.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and execute a targeted sales plan.
  • Experience working with public companies, high-growth organizations, and private equity-backed businesses is highly preferred.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and execute targeted territory and account-based sales plans.
  • Proven ability to present compelling value propositions to executive-level audiences, including CFOs, Controllers, Boards, Audit Committees, and Private Equity stakeholders.
  • Strong business development and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex accounting, financial, and operational concepts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development with technical accounting, SEC reporting, IPO readiness, operational accounting, financial reporting, and finance transformation services.
  • Existing relationships or an established network within Private Equity, Venture Capital, investment banking, public accounting, corporate finance, or executive finance leadership communities.
  • Direct sales experience, including quotas, pipeline development, forecasting, and managing full sales lifecycle activities.
  • Proven track record of originating and closing complex, high-value consulting and advisory engagements.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting organizations, financial reporting requirements, capital markets activity, and evolving regulatory environments.
