Director of Business Development

Job Summary: The Director of Business Development plays a pivotal role in lead generation by fostering relationships with local, regional, and national businesses catering to seniors and disabled individuals. This position works closely with the sales team and site and divisional leaders to achieve revenue targets and enhance our market presence.

This role is essential for generating leads and referrals and will help drive and facilitate presentations and the education of referral sources such as Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation Hospitals, Acute Care Hospitals, LTACs, Childrens Hospitals, Home Healthcare Agencies, Non-Skilled Home Care Providers, Outpatient Therapy Providers, Senior Services Providers and physician/doctors offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Identify potential targets within local markets for sales growth, collaborating with Sales Consultants and General Managers to develop and execute effective contact strategies.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and partnership strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior management to define sales targets, market positioning, and key performance indicators.
  1. Referral Program Management:
    • In conjunction with other Business Development team members and local leadership, design and oversee a robust referral program to maximize leads and customer acquisitions.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to expand the referral network.
  2. Channel Partner Development:
    • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic channel partners to enhance product distribution and market reach and optimize opportunities coming from channel.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring their success and loyalty.
    • Conduct educational sessions and in-service training within the B2B community to raise awareness and generate leads for potential clients.
  3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with marketing, and customer service teams to align strategies and ensure a white glove, VIP, seamless customer experience.
    • Collaborate closely with local managers and sales teams to collectively build a robust book of business.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in business development, sales growth, and relationship management.
    • Strong knowledge of the senior and disabled care industry.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
    • Ability to identify market opportunities and develop strategic plans accordingly.
    • Demonstrated success in conducting educational sessions and in-service training.
    • Proactive and self-motivated with a track record of achieving business development targets.

    Reporting:
