Recognized as a top national employer, our client offers a collaborative, inclusive environment committed to your career development and professional growth.

This isn't just a job—it’s a career path. As an Associate Adjuster, you will play a vital role in investigating, evaluating, and settling non-complex personal auto claims. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be the empathetic voice helping policyholders navigate unexpected events while meeting key operational goals and performance metrics.

What’s in It for You?
  • Career Development: Quick conversion timeline (average 3–4 months), robust training and development, hands-on experience, personalized coaching, and ongoing mentorship.

  • Competitive Compensation: Starting at $24.00/hour with a clear salary increase to $50,000/year upon direct-hire conversion.

  • Work Schedule & Hybrid Flexibility:

    • Workplace Model: Hybrid schedule with 2–3 days in-office and 2–3 days remote. (Note: In-office presence may be required during the initial training period).

    • Hours: 7.75 hours per day (38.75 hours per week), Monday–Friday.

    • Shift Schedules: Training schedule is 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Post-training shift will be either 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and perform payment functions on non-complex, multi-state personal auto claims.

  • Review electronic claim files for completeness and proactively gather missing details or documentation.

  • Conduct empathetic outbound calls to policyholders, providing clear guidance and establishing next steps.

  • Coordinate vendor, rental vehicle, and repair appraisal processes, confirming claim resolution and final payment amounts.

  • Set up predetermined reserves, collect bills/documentation, and issue outbound written correspondence.

  • Recognize coverages, claim processing guidelines, and system workflows (claims in this role do not involve complex liability determinations, questionable damages, injury claims, or coverage disputes).

  • Support phone queue volume during peak times and identify/route complex claims requiring reassignment to senior adjusters.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Associate degree (or currently working toward an Associate degree) is strongly preferred.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in customer service, financial services, or hospitality preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using dual screens, toggling between multiple software platforms, and utilizing MS Office (Word/Excel).

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills across phone, email, and core software applications.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Self-starter with an energetic, positive, and professional attitude.

    • High emotional intelligence, empathy, patience, and effective conflict-resolution skills.

    • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and sound decision-making judgment.

    • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    • Adaptable, collaborative, and team-oriented.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Ability to use a personal computer and standard office equipment for extended periods.

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for 75%–90% of the workday.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
