Gentle Arms Counseling Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a remote, full-time position based in Chicago, Illinois. As an essential member of our Early Intervention team, you will play a vital role in delivering quality assessments, developing individualized plans, and providing parenting support to bolster child development.

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children with disabilities or delays, employing a variety of assessment tools and methods to gather critical information.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), collaborating with team members and family members to set meaningful goals.
• Regularly monitor outcomes, adjusting strategies and intervention plans based on each child's progression and family feedback.
• Engage in direct communication with families to provide education, resources, and emotional support, ensuring they feel empowered in assisting their child's development journey.
• Understand and implement federal and state regulations that govern infant and early childhood mental health and ensure compliance across all practices.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and established methodologies, including the Natural Learning Environment Practices, to create child-friendly learning experiences.
• Establish rapport with children and families, utilizing coaching techniques and natural environment teaching strategies to enhance developmental skills.
• Document all sessions and maintain accurate records to facilitate ongoing service improvements.

Your work will primarily focus on children from birth to three years of age who exhibit developmental delays and disabilities. You will collaborate not only with the children but also with their families and various stakeholders such as educators and health professionals, advocating for the child’s needs and well-being. Your empathetic approach will be key in addressing family dynamics, ensuring positive outcomes are not just achievable but sustained over time.

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required, along with a current LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is necessary for local travel when required.
• A proven ability to work with diverse populations and adapt to various learning styles to meet the unique needs of each child.
• One year of relevant experience in early intervention with children in a similar setting is preferred.
• Commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices and sensitivity towards cultural, familial, and individual differences.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
