A leading developer in the global industrial automation market, Pepperl+Fuchs is looking for an energetic, self-driven individual to fill an immediate need for anย Administrative Assistantย at our office in Twinsburg, OH.ย  The Administrative Assistant will support two or more members of our leadership team including wide variety of work to include: managing daily calendars, making travel arrangements, coordinating itineraries across groups of people, meeting note taking, data retrieval and report development. This role will collaborate with all departments across the organization and will need to approach every interaction with positivity and openness along with a service mindset. ย Your ability to switch gears, prioritize independently and enthusiasm to take on new projects and technologies will serve you well in this role.ย  No two days are the same.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail oriented, organized, adaptable, intuitive and capable of managing multiple priorities.ย  Someone who leverages their advanced proficiency in various types of software including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and other software services like: Tableau, Siebel Customer Relation Management, Movex Enterprise Resource Planning to provide effective and efficient support. Exercises professional and ethical judgement as work is generally of a critical or confidential nature.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings, calls and travel arrangements across multiple time zones.
  • Entering expenses into an automated reporting tool.
  • Creating data driven reports using Tableau, maintaining and reviewing these reports.
  • Preparing executive summaries for Townhalls, etc.
  • Data entry into two different databases; Movex ERP and Siebel CRM.
  • Additional administrative duties including filing, answering phones, meeting notes and writing correspondence.

The background you'll need:

  • Associates of Arts degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a busy business environment or as an administrative assistant working with large groups.
  • You will need to be self-directed, confident, assertive, organized, responsible and have a real willingness to dig in.ย 
  • Expert Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to organize work, multitask, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and good follow up skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solution focused.
  • Strong situational awareness skills - the ability to perceive, understand and anticipate change and respond appropriately.
  • Proven skills with travel arrangements (domestic and international) and large meeting/eventย coordination.
