Torch Technologies is seeking a Dashboard Development (Azure DevOps) to support the design, development, and maintenance of project dashboards and reporting solutions using Azure DevOps (ADO). The ideal candidate will have experience building data visualizations, automating reporting workflows, and developing user-friendly dashboards that provide actionable insights for technical and program teams.

This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to improve visibility into project performance, metrics, sprint activities, and delivery status.

As a Dashboard Development (Azure DevOps) your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions within Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Create automated reports and visualizations for project tracking, sprint metrics, defects, and performance indicators
  • Develop scripts, integrations, or lightweight tools to improve data collection and reporting efficiency
  • Collaborate with technical and program teams to gather dashboard requirements and implement enhancements
  • Support data validation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of reporting tools
  • Assist with documentation of dashboard architecture, workflows, and processes
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of software development or dashboard/reporting experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), including Boards, Pipelines, Queries, and Analytics
  • Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as:
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • PowerShell
  • C#
  • Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools such as:
    • Power BI
    • Azure DevOps Dashboards
    • Grafana
    • Tableau
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building APIs or integrating with REST services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
  • Experience working with SQL or other data sources
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Experience in government or defense environments is a plus.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality and usability.
  • Eager to learn new tools and technologies.
