  • Develop new or improved equipment, materials, processes, products, and engineering methods by applying advanced engineering theories and principles.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, cost, resources, timelines, and business impact.
  • Provide expert-level technical insight into manufacturing and processing methods, materials, and system performance, supporting long-term engineering and production planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical experts to provide recommendations, problem-solving approaches, and analytical methods that support multiple projects and programs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to internal stakeholders and external customers to support key business decisions.
  • Conduct advanced engineering analyses, testing, and validation activities related to new or modified designs, materials, equipment, or processes.

Experience you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronics, Systems Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in complex technical environments.
  • Must have experience working with axial piston pumps.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, systems design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards (aerospace experience preferred).
  • Experience leading technical projects, engineering analyses, and product development activities.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and engineering best practices.
  • Proficiency with engineering tools, data analysis software, and project management systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to leadership and customers.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams or junior talent.
  • Strong analytical thinking, independent judgment, and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments with incomplete data.
