Job description

Audubon is looking for Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Effectively applies Audubon methodology and enforces project standards
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Minimizes exposure and risk on project
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Manages the project budget
  • Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project
  • Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency and utilization
  • Remains completely accessible to client 24/7 during life of project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely and appropriately
  • Drives Management of Change philosophy and enforces corresponding procedures
  • Supervises project engineers, coordinators and admins
  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions
  • Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential
  • Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 7+ years' of project management and field experience working in the onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage, pipelines and interconnects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
  • Organizes and develops highly functional and effective project teams
  • Works to instill a sense of project ownership and accountability in the project team
  • Coordinates and works with other departments (Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Finance and Accounting) to ensure the timely delivery of quality goods and services which meet or exceed our customer's expectations
  • Provides active coaching and mentoring to Project Engineers and/or Coordinators assigned to him/her. Takes an ACTIVE role in developing their skills and progressing them professionally.
  • Identifies opportunities for team member improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
  • Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures
