Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee project lifecycle from contract review to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality) to meet project objectives.
  • Serve as the main customer contact, managing communications, RFIs, and change requests.
  • Coordinate documentation, submittals, and compliance with industry standards (ASME, ASTM, API).
  • Identify risks and implement Management of Change (MOC) and mitigation plans.

Job Duties
  • Validate customer order scope, terms, and requirements during order entry and contract review.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to compile submittal and fabrication drawing packages.
  • Coordinate specification or schedule changes among customers, Engineering, and Production.
  • Align project requirements with plant capacity, material availability, and manpower resources.
  • Manage pricing adjustments with Sales and Estimating; ensure timely communication of updates to customers.
  • Schedule and oversee third-party inspections and shipping logistics.
  • Coordinate progress and milestone invoicing with the Contracts Manager.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, contracts, and change orders.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports to Operations Management.
  • Support warranty claims, customer training, and after-sales service needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.

Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (preferred).
  • a minimum of 3 years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial operations.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Candidates must be located in the Andrews, Odessa, or Midland.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and project management tools (MS Project, Oracle, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of risk management and contingency planning.
  • Up to 10% travel required; may involve evening or weekend work.
