Job description

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is rapidly expanding and seeking a dynamic Project Manager to spearhead our high-growth initiatives!

We need a practical, self-directed Project Manager to oversee multiple capital improvement, plant expansion, and equipment installation projects at the same time. You will work directly with the company owner to take projects from the initial planning stages all the way through completion. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to solve problems on the fly, and a solid background in industrial engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent engineering, capital improvement, and facility expansion projects
  • Work with the owner and plant teams to layout project goals, timelines, materials, and labor requirements
  • Monitor project budgets and manage capital expenditures to eliminate cost overruns
  • Ensure all engineering work, plant modifications, and equipment installations meet OSHA, DEC, and PNG codes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (MBA a plus)
  • 5+ years of project management experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or chemical processing plant environment
  • Strong working familiarity with PNG infrastructure, regulatory codes, and state/federal environmental compliance
  • Proficient in engineering design software applications, highly organized, and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to regional sites for project oversight

Shift & Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay:

  • $115,000 – $125,000 / year
