Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the creation, coordination, and implementation of various division marketing initiatives for Highland Homes, and support activities that build and foster relationships with cross-functional teams, as well as consumers, developers and realtors.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Marketing Manager, Sales Managers, Sales Counselors, and Division Leaders to develop and implement community-level sales and marketing strategies and sales enablement programs and tools:
    • Regularly meet with Sales team to understand current sales goals and challenges
    • Work independently or alongside Marketing Manager to develop strategies and programs that enable Sales to meet their goals
    • Collaboratively brainstorm with Sales team gift ideas for enhancing Realtor relationships
    • Work with Marketing Manager and Sales team to generate engaging news and other noteworthy content to share on Realtor-focused social media
    • Receive, interpret and prepare incoming creative requests for consumer and/or realtor communications
    • Design or direct Graphic Designer to create artwork for marketing collateral
    • Track spending on Community Marketing programs and events
    • Continually evaluate and adjust project priority based upon workload and necessity
    • Explore assigned territory to understand the community, evaluate effectiveness of signage, and look for areas of improvement
    • Maintain relationship with developer marketing teams and verify proper use of Highland marketing materials (price points, logos, photography, etc.), and alignment on and support of developer-led events
    • Track upcoming community and lot delivery timelines to provide support for sales in plat map generation to completion
  • Support Marketing Events:
    • Assist with community-level Marketing events with oversight from Marketing Manager and Sales team from concept to completion
    • Establish goals for communities and self
    • Assist with theme development and ways to engage audiences, whether consumer and/or realtor, that address division and community objectives
    • Attend events as needed
    • Evaluate effectiveness of the event including tracking contracts from the event
    • Track realtor attendance at all events accurately in Salesforce.  
  • Support Sales and Construction teams upon model home completion. Activities include:
    • Track recorded plat status, submit purchase orders, compile and share necessary information with printing vendors, ensure template consistency, secure proof approvals, and manage framing process with external vendor
    • Monitor inventory levels and communicate reorder recommendations to Marketing Manager
    • Assist Marketing Manager in material order planning, quote requests and approvals
    • Plan, package and fulfill community merchandising needs 
  • Update marketing slides for Division meeting presentation.
  • Field, research, and respond to incoming sales and sponsorship requests from local organizations, schools, sport teams, cause marketing representatives, marketing and media firms, print vendors, etc.
  • Support the Realtor Marketing Campaigns as needed.
  • Assist Marketing Team as needed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • HS Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year related experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop software preferred.
  • Prior working experience with word processing, spreadsheets and database management preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to interact with Realtors and employees professionally.
  • Strong negotiation skills preferred.
  • Ability to work on several projects and tasks simultaneously on a daily basis.
  • Prior Marketing experience preferred.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Flexibility and reliable internet to enable remote work from home as permitted.
