Job description

We are a growing mid-sized manufacturer of specialized abrasive products know for our commitment to quality and innovation, comprised of 5 business segments. We are seeking a Marketing Manger to formulate, plan, direct, coordinate and implement marketing initiatives, programs, materials and system to promote the Company's products and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Through joint consideration and planning with management, determine and formulate marketing initiatives, activities and policies to promote products and services achieve maximum volume and profitable operation.
  • Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
  • Develops, creates, promotes, enhances, and implements a variety of marketing programs and tools which may include:  social media, videos, literature, website, direct mail, and/or sales presentations, etc. with the goal of keep a unified marketing message
  • Initiate and conduct market and industry research and integrates into current marketing strategy.
  • Research, analyze and recommend new marketing opportunities.
  • Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers or advertisers to market products or services; select products or accessories to be displayed at trade or special production shows.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. Minimum of seven years of previous marketing experience in a durable manufacturing industry; experience in abrasives products or machine tools is a plus
