Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern for our Summer 2027 internship program! The internship will provide valuable learning experience to a college student seeking experience and business exposure in the mechanical engineering field. U.S. Venture will structure the internship to afford additional college credit whenever possible.
U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create/update P&ID drawings

  • Organize project files in a searchable/easy to use database (SharePoint)

  • Recreate existing Terminal infrastructure in AutoCAD Plant 3D

  • Create construction drawings for new projects

  • Create spreadsheets for estimating/tracking project costs

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Actively pursuing a related degree program - Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to work full time (40 hours) during the summer
  • Ability to manage and lead a project or perform a function with limited supervision
