Boeing Canada Operations Ltd.is currently seeking anEngineering Intern(s)for ourBoeing Engineering & Technology Innovation and Tool Engineeringdepartments to work out of our office inWinnipeg, Manitobalocation. This opportunity is4 monthsin length,starting in September 2026.

We are looking for current post-secondary students who are interested in working side-by-side with experienced engineering professionals. Our student Interns are given a unique experience as they learn the ropes and attain newfound competencies. Interns are exposed to on-the-job challenges as they work on hands-on tasks, undergo training, and have the opportunity to work on special projects. Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics, operations research, engineering economics) and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers (e.g., management, departments, suppliers).

  • Apply general engineering techniques and concepts to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle resulting in a robust product design and work statement that meets program requirements.

  • Assists in research, design, development, improvement and implementation of processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Engineering concepts for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.

  • Utilizes engineering methods (e.g., mathematical models, simulation, statistics) to support the development of optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment) in the creation and validation of products.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be at least a 2nd year engineering student attending a university with studies in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering or similar technical discipline.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Willing and able to work 40 hours per week during the internship.

  • Must have strong oral and written communications skills.

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.

  • Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Prefer previous internship experience.

  • Experience and knowledge of aerospace structures and/or composite materials would be beneficial.

  • Experience in the use of CATIA or equivalent 3D Modelling software

Education/Experience:

*Graduates are ineligible unless continuing in post graduate studies.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

Starting salary will be based on year of post-secondary education completed, qualifications and experience. The range for this internship is $23.50 - $27.00 CAD hourly.
