Developer Developer Jobs in Victoria, BC (NOW HIRING)

Join a dynamic team as a Hardware Developer working on transducer products, including current and high voltage models. Your role will involve taking analog waveforms and digitizing them, with a focus on accuracy and timing. You will primarily work on the head unit of the system, which includes a system on chip, and contribute to both mature and new product lines using tools like Allegro for PCB layout and the Cadence tool suite.

• Develop and finalize existing transducer products.
• Engage in early proof of concept work for new products.
• Recast existing products into new product lines, borrowing from other product lines.
• Lay down schematics and assist in early product development.
• Perform detailed PCB layout and hardware design.
• Select components and engage in analog design work.
• Conduct EMC/EMI testing to ensure product reliability.

• Experience with component selection.
• Intermediate experience with PCB schematics and layouts.
• Proficiency in Allegro or similar software.
• Experience with EMI/EMC testing.
• Analog and digital design skills.

• Experience with embedded systems is a plus.
• Understanding of three-phase power systems and voltage/current dynamics.

This role is part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary scrum team of 15, working two days in the office. You will be supported by senior staff in a team-oriented environment that values sustainability and diversity. This is a Contract position based out of Victoria, BC.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
