Lead Application Developer - AI-Driven Full Stack Solutions

About the Role
Join our dynamic development technology team as a Lead Application Developer, championing the design and delivery of agentic, AI-powered workflows that automate critical business processes. Leverage cutting-edge AI-assisted development practices and modern full stack engineering to drive speed, consistency, and scalability. You will play a pivotal role in guiding both technical direction and team growth within a collaborative, enterprise-scale environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to architect robust, scalable application solutions
- Lead end-to-end development of full stack applications using Angular 16+, Java 17+, and RESTful APIs
- Design, build, and maintain responsive front-end user interfaces and secure, high-performance backend services
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, task assignments, mentoring, and delivery coordination
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders for seamless delivery
- Ensure maintainability, security, compliance, and code quality in all solutions
- Troubleshoot, support, and remediate complex application issues in production environments
- Recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance team productivity and solution quality
- Promote engineering best practices, including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and observability
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure transparent, iterative development
Required Skills and Experience
- Deep hands-on experience with Angular 16+ and Java 17+
- Proven expertise in full stack development, including RESTful APIs, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern UI frameworks
- Practical use of AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, documentation, and workflow optimization
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, or similar Java frameworks
- Demonstrated leadership in complex technical projects and mentoring developers
- Strong background in automated testing, code quality tools, DevOps, and secure coding
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7+ years full stack development experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Financial Services or regulated enterprise environments
- Background in agentic workflows, LLM-powered apps, or AI-enabled automation
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and messaging platforms
- Familiarity with observability, logging, monitoring, and performance management tools
- Experience with enterprise authentication/authorization and legacy integration
- Proven Agile technical leadership on complex initiatives
