Garden Path Counseling is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to perform your duties from a location of your choice while still offering significant support to clients through virtual platforms. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring a seamless therapeutic process for our patients.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your role will involve:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, focusing on building rapport and trust with clients.
• Assessing and diagnosing clients' mental health conditions, creating personalized treatment plans aligned with their recovery goals.
• Documenting patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed, ensuring a thorough and accurate documentation process.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to facilitate case management and ensure comprehensive care for individuals in withdrawal and detoxification processes.
• Maintaining clinical documentation in compliance with all industry regulations, focusing on confidentiality and ethical standards.

Our primary focus is on patients in detox centers, supporting individuals grappling with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a tailored approach to each individual's care plan to foster healing and recovery.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• A current and active LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, with a preference for advanced qualifications such as a Master’s degree.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health settings, particularly in outpatient or detox environments.
• Expertise in clinical documentation practices and an understanding of medical record-keeping processes.

While not mandatory, the following experience will enhance your application:

• Experience with motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement.
• A specialty in working with youth, particularly children or teens, is highly valued.
• Proficiency in crisis intervention and an understanding of gender-related issues in counseling and therapy.
• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, especially with co-occurring disorders.
