Job Title: Associate Therapist
Company Overview: All American Detox Center is a residential detox facility treating individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. We are committed to promoting healing, growth, and wellness. We specialize in offering individualized care that address a wide range of therapeutic modalities. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and innovative therapeutic interventions to support our clients on their journey toward mental and emotional well-being.
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Therapist to join our dynamic team. The Associate Primary Therapist will play a crucial role in delivering individualized therapy to clients and assisting in the development and implementation of treatment plans. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a mental health counselor, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist.
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting providing therapy to individuals, preferably with diverse populations and presenting concerns.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of client care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual therapy and group therapy sessions daily with assigned clients using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to best practice, DHCS, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards at all times.
  • Actively involve family, outside providers or other collaterals in treatment, pending consent. Must be in communication with relevant parties (parents, spouse etc.) regularly to keep them informed and respond to any questions in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains a positive, warm and therapeutic attitude and disposition
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
