Due to growth, we are currently seeking to add a Jr Systems Administrator to our exceptional team. The Jr Systems Administrator is responsible for taking the first level tickets once escalated to the team. In thisrole it is vital in ensuring the IT infrastructure runs smoothly while building a foundation for more advanced responsibilities in the future.In this role, you'll primarily focus onsetting up/decom user accounts and computersandtroubleshoot basic day to day tickets with the first level of support, making a significant impact on our team. 

Responsibilities  

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues  
  • Support operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS  
  • Manage user accounts using tools like Active Directory  
  • Assist with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting  
  • Provide basic networking support (IP configuration, DNS, VPN)  
  • Configure, install, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals  
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and IT teams for repairs, updates, and troubleshooting  
  • Provide timely, professional support to end users  
  • Communicate clearly and explain technical issues to non-technical users  
  • Maintain accurate documentation and time entries  
  • Build strong relationships with clients and ensure high satisfaction  
  • Handle user concerns calmly and professionally, including de-escalation  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.  
  • 2+ years of experience working in an MSP, internal IT environment, or a similar technical support setting.
  • Perferred certifactions: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Server+, CySA+, MS-900, AZ-900, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity  
  • Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.   
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, client-focused team.   
  • Enthusiastic about taking on challenges in a growing company with a diverse client base.   
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.   
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
