Job description

The Windows Desktop Administrator Jr provides CAA and Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA), full IT support, including but not limited to system administration, user support, technical support assistance, service request management, remote desktop management, self-help tools, Hardware (HW), and Software (SW) direct service desk support.


· Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot all hardware and software for the installed customer base.

· Provide on-site and remote technical support to users.

· Provide multi-media coordination and assistance for the setup and execution of conferences, meetings, and Video Teleconference (VTC) operations.

· Fully document support tickets on reported issues

· Assist customers through the installation of applications and computer peripherals.

· Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions

· Provide formal, informal, and On-the-Job Training related to help desk applications, to customers and Military/Government internal staff, as required.

· Conduct troubleshooting when required.

· Support special network user devices and other mission systems and applications deployed within an unclassified/classified environment or network.


Required:

· Associate’s Degree with 3-5 years of helpdesk support experience.

· Knowledge of common software applications, such as web browsing (i.e., Microsoft Edge), email (i.e., Microsoft Outlook), word processing (i.e., Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (i.e., Microsoft Excel), presentations (i.e., Microsoft PowerPoint), databases (i.e., Microsoft Access), photo editing tools, desktop publishing software, and scanning tools.
