Role Profile


Position Summary

Reporting To: VP of Technology
Department: Technology
Location: Marysville, OH (on-site, in office)
Employment Type: Full-time


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to support issues from employees for Microsoft Office applications, Google applications, Phone, Printers, Mobile devices, Business Systems, etc.
  • Support the Head of IT Support through management and resolving of user-created help desk tickets
  • Delegate help desk ticket workflow to junior staff as appropriate
  • Escalate help desk tickets to subject matter experts as appropriate
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting
  • Create and maintain backups of critical data
  • Install/troubleshoot application software
  • Maintain user accounts across all systems (network, email, phone, security, etc.)
  • Track, maintain and update IT inventory
  • Manage Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Maintain (patches, updates and fixes) software used on company systems including OS, anti-virus and malware protection
  • Manage user hardware including maintenance, replacement and ordering
  • Document IT processes and procedures
  • Work with vendors to help resolve technical issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for managing (IT portions) Onboarding/Offboarding of employees


Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support roles
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, standing and reaching
  • Moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
