Job Description

Are you an effective communicator, able to solve complex business problems with automation, while juggling many projects? Do you enjoy being an important and dynamic resource with expertise in configuration management, IT security and compliance, and distributed scheduling? Utilize cutting edge technology providing engineering solutions and operational guidelines for the deployment and maintenance Marimba and Tivoli Workload Scheduler.

Test compliance with IT security benchmarks using BMC BBSA. Implement scheduling solutions and define workload standards.

Support an enterprise level Tivoli Workload Scheduler infrastructure globally


Qualifications

Required 

5+ years of Distributed Systems Engineering

3+ years experience managing complex projects Engineering knowledge of Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Security, Change Management, BMC BBSA BladeLogic and BBCA Marimba management practices and processes.

1-2 years experience in Microsoft SCCM, Citrix Zen Server/Desktop, VMWare ESX, BMC Atrium Remedy, BMC Impact Manager, Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP.


Preferred Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or 5+ years of equivalent work experience required.

Global Experience with Distributed Engineering preferred.

Familiarity with SOX and regulatory compliance. Enforces adherence to audit and security policies.

Scripting skills in perl, jython, python, KSH, BSH and/or equivalent.

ADP or equivalent certification preferred, or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.

US citizenship is a requirement for certification
