Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a QA Automation Tester to join their technology team. The role involves developing and executing automated tests, designing automation frameworks, and ensuring the quality of software through various testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit.
• Experience with automation framework design – Karate, POM, Hybrid, BDD/Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML.
• Hands on experience with:
• Postman, Swagger
• RestAssured, Karate, or similar API automation tools
• Writing API test scripts and assertions
• Proficiency in Java (preferred) or Python.
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps Boards).
• Basic SQL for backend data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced Agile team.

• 8 - 10 Years experience
