Devops support team hosting and supporting ALM tools for development teams within Wholesale. The note probably wet o someone who handles regions or takes in these updates and then distributes them down to your level - that would be my guess as to why you have not received something yet.
Providing customer support (50%-60%), project work (30%-40%) application production support (10%) Our user base consists of approx 600 application development teams that range in the number of hosted services that our team provides. These services range from version control, ALM tools and build/deploy automation. A separate team (WARE Automation) supports users needing build/deployment, but the WARE Framework team supports the uptime, upgrading and production availability of all hosted tools.
Required skills:
Java application administration

Networking concepts - DNS, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, SSL
Experience supporting hosted tools used by application development team
The role will consist of 80-90% tickets from developers (internal application development teams) with how-to questions, user provisioning requests and technical problem troubleshooting and resolution. The remaining 10-20% will be spent on administrative tasks such as filling out technical forms to onboard our applications into the enterprise monitoring systems, knowing and reviewing our BCP/disaster recovery plans and basic production availability support during after-hours/weekends on a weekly rotation with the rest of the team
Ability to support hosted applications used by developers, such as Subversion, Git, Atlassian JIRA, Atlassian Confluence, Nexus Pro, etc
Ability to navigate within the UNIX command-line interface (bash/ksh shell) enough to change directories and view the contents of log files

Responsibilities:
Framework Support Analyst will maintain a partnership, working relationship with the application teams and partners to proactively modify and add workflows as appropriate to continue maximizing the value of the ALM service to the application teams and the business clients they support.
The senior engineers will also facilitate the implementation of the Application Lifecycle process and the Build and Release Services.
This person will proactive research, test and implement additional tools of value to the Application Lifecycle
Responsible for interfacing with the application teams to assist them in determining the most efficient and value-added method of managing their application's Lifecycle development activities to move their application through the process to implementation.
These activities include code source control, bug tracking, code enhancement tracking, code review, code development collaboration and web design.
In addition, to these consultive activities, the Framework Support Analyst will work with the applications teams, technology partners, and all relevant teams to on-board the application team and their applications into the Application Lifecycle Services.
They will lead onboard efforts and matrix teams of engineers.
Support Analyst may also assume duties and roles related to Software Configuration Management and Framework Development/Architecture.
In this capacity, they will work with version control systems, automated build systems, regression test systems along with many other lifecycle tools.
They will develop, architect, integrate and support the integrated system and components.
