Wood, the global engineering and consultancy organization, is seeking a Piping Designer to join our vibrant and growing team in ourCalgary and Edmoston offices.

The Projects team in Calgary  has a history of delivering some of the biggest projects in the Canadian Oilsands, with associated pipelines and refinery infrastructure, as well as a strong foothold in the energy transition supporting the rapidly growing decarbonization and

renewables industry.

Responsibilities: 

  • Create and develop 3D model using AutoPlant, CADWorx, Aveva and OpenPlant an assest
  • Experience Modeling Pipelines and CPF's
  • Drafting General Arrangement drawing
  • Creating Isometrics
  • Plant Layout drawings

  • Diploma in Process Piping Drafting
  • a Minimum of  2 years of experience in piping design and drafting
  • Proficiency witth Autoplant, CADWorx, Aveva, is considered a plus
  • Candidate will be required to live within commutable distance to Calgary

Additional skills required:

  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
