Summary of Position

Our Designated Trainer (DT) is here to help employees cultivate their skills and knowledge. The DT will provide complete training to share his/her expertise in ways that motivate others in all aspects of Pizza Loca standards. He/she serves as an experienced educator with organizational skills and a positive attitude. The goal is to promote efficiency and competitive advantage by developing the skills of personnel, and this will be shown by the job the trainees will perform.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Works in conjunction with the HR Dept and Operations to design and implement effective training programs.
  • Liaises with Managers, HR Dept and Operations Dept to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.
  • Conducts individual and group sessions according to store needs.
  • Prepares educational material such as training manuals and paperwork.
  • Serves as a mentor to employees.
  • Conducts evaluations to employees being trained identifying areas of improvement.
  • Monitors employee performance and response to training.
  • Communicates effectively with trainees, Store Managers and Corporate office to ensure effectiveness of the program.
  • Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to Pizza Loca recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Effectively implements, maintains, and corrects processes and procedures in accordance with Pizza Loca standards
  • Enforces Food safety practices that comply with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Adheres to Company?s policies and serves as an example to the staff
  • Performs other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Fully bi-lingual in Spanish and English
  • Has worked with the Company for more than 2 years and has a proven successful record of Management, team building, and training.
  • Has worked more than 1 position at the store level.
  • Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our employees.
