Our ideal candidate has minimum of 4-8 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work cohesively within a team, and the ability to work on multiple projects. Additionally, we offer a creative, flexible, supportive and fun environment!

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage projects, staff and clients.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as work zone traffic, intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, DOT access permitting, control plans and traffic signal operations analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.
  • Assist with traffic/parking studies, corridor planning, feasibility studies, and safety audits.
  • Coordinate with field inspection staff and serve as an on-site project representative.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in NY required (or ability to obtain within first 6 months)
  • Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) desirable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with design standards, NYSDOT/NYCDOT/CTDOT/NJDOT experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver’s License

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
