Job Summary

CN Customer Solutions is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the delivery of critical Customer and Logistics Solutions. The System Architect Expert is the accountable architect to all IT Stakeholders to define & recommend a sound End to End architecture that will support the Business needs and aligned with the IT directions & standards, and to ensure that the solution defined gets implemented per definition. The end to end architecture encompasses all architecture layers: Business, application, information and technology.

As an expert product builder, you will define practical architectures that ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of complex distributed systems. You will also contribute to the definition of strategic technology directions and define continuous improvement objectives in collaboration with leadership team.

Main Responsibilities

Solution Portfolio Architecture & Delivery

       Lead the delivery of innovation initiatives and create great products by focusing on the needs of our customers and business value delivery.

       Define Systems & plan architecture activities required to deliver it

       Provide direction & Lead Specialized architects in the delivery of the System architecture to Designers & I&T Integrators, for a project, this include:

       Approve decisions made by Specialized architect

       Drive alignment of the proposed solution with the Enterprise & Domain strategies, master plans & roadmaps

       Manage risk mitigation and as required Drive issue escalation & resolution related to the architecture

       Signoff on Architecture where he does have the Architecture delegation authority

       Govern the implementation of the architecture during Delivery

       Lead more than one initiative simultaneously (4-6)

       Can be the accountable architect for a program

Architecture Practice Evolution 

       Evaluate current and emerging technologies;

       Be a leader in the innovation group, fostering a culture of design thinking, brainstorming,  efficiency, and balancing vision with practicality.

       Define architecture and engineering standards, patterns & best practices.

       Influence Innovation leadership with effective communication of proposals, directions and strategic decision making.

RequirementsExperience

       15+ years of experience in IT with applications, data and cloud.

       5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect

       Background as a software engineer is preferred

Education/Certification/Designation

       Bachelor's degree in technology related field or equivalent experience

       Strong ability at taking hard decisions by understanding and explaining trade-offs between business enablement and economics impacts

       Strong Architecture knowledge within numerous fields: Business, systems, Application, Information and technology architecture facets

       Knowledge of Software Architecture - Web, Mobile, API, Micro-Services, SOA, Systems Integration, Event Driven Architecture, Databases.

       Good knowledge Salesforce Cloud ecosystem is an asset.

       Knowledge of Cloud Architecture - Monitoring, Networking, Security, Storage, Compute with GCP/Azure/AWS is an asset

       Strong experience all phases of software SDLC and DevSecOps practices.

       Strong Experience engineering enterprise grade products with high SLO.

       Strong experience leading practices and the work of others.

       Strong experience with Agile/Scrum/Safe delivery management and planning

       Strong ability to manage priorities in an evolving environment and to handle multiple demands.

       Proven ability to organize team and workload in order to achieve objectives and targets

       Strong organizational skills - tactful, resolute and committed in providing excellent customer service

       Very good experience in the identification, assessment and management of solution and business risks/value

       Very good influencing and communication skills with stakeholders at various levels

       Good ability to work and develop partnerships effectively with colleagues, managers, suppliers and stakeholders in a variety of situations
