It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.**WHERE YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE*** Lead the Manufacturing Technology function at a large-scale industrial biotechnology site, managing both project portfolios and team performance.* Develop and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team through goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and recognition.* Translate Health and Biosciences Manufacturing Technology and Operations goals into actionable departmental initiatives.* Prioritize and manage multiple projects, ensuring effective communication with internal stakeholders, business leaders, and the global Manufacturing Technology organization.* Support operations by providing robust process, equipment, and automation design solutions, including proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase capacity, enhance product quality, support safety enhancements, and reduce operational costs.* Collaborate with site capital and automation teams to align resources and develop the site’s long-term master plan.* Partner with business leaders and the Process Research and Development team to implement new products and process changes.* Contribute to global strategies and initiatives as a member of the Health and Biosciences Manufacturing Technology leadership community.* Ability to be at the physical location of the job for the designated work schedule* Will be asked to train someone and/or participate in a task force to improve company procedures or operations.* Ability to effectively problem-solve* Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.* Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a cGMP, quality environment including but not limited to: inspections and GMP requirements to perform essential functions of the job.
