Overview

Colgate-Palmolive is a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries, specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. We seek a global, strategic design leader to drive design across the Enterprise Oral Care Category, transforming traditional CPG design into an integrated, innovative growth engine. The role requires leading design and brand projects that exceed business objectives across 2D and 3D packaging, digital platforms, retail environments and e-commerce.

Role Summary

You are a global, strategic design leader with the creativity, empathy and courage needed to lead Design for a key pillar within the Enterprise Oral Care Category of Colgate-Palmolive. You inspire and lead people, drive bold ideas, and deliver results across online and offline brand experiences in a global enterprise environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design within a key pillar of the Enterprise Oral Care Category, focusing on packaging design systems, execution and sustained activation for Global and Divisional brands.
  • Collaborate with the EOC Marketing team and Divisions to align global design strategy with the overall brand strategy and guidelines while adapting to local market needs.
  • Drive design excellence standards with internal and external agency partners, starting with packaging and expanding to brand experience and activation.
  • Champion Colgate’s design vision, systems and guardianship.
  • Lead and participate in design-centered thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop Design Briefs and Project Plans.
  • Build relationships to influence regional marketing and business leaders to elevate the impact and role of design.
  • Resource management across internal and external creative partners.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional design experience, primarily within a Consumer Product Goods sector on global brands, brand or related creative industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of necessary software applications and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of global brand design systems (brand equity, architecture, visual assets, guardianship).
  • Ability to navigate organizational dynamics and position design as a strategic partner.
  • Experience leading multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and influence skills across diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to balance global priorities with local relevance.
  • AI workflow experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $150,000.00 – $175,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for executive-level roles. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) with company matching (eligibility requirements apply). Vacation and holidays: a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days and 13 paid holidays; sick leave varies by role and location per local laws. Details provided upon hire and subject to change.
