Project Coordinator - Design Services
Sterling Heights, MI
$42.28 - $48.80/Hour
We are hiring a Project Coordinator - Design Services in Sterling Heights, MI, to support advanced engineering documentation, configuration management, and PLM data coordination for mission-critical military vehicle programs. This role requires expertise in Teamcenter PLM, engineering data management, Technical Data Packages (TDPs), CAD documentation control, configuration management, and cross-functional project coordination supporting complex manufacturing and defense engineering environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the lifecycle of models, drawings, and Technical Data Packages (TDPs), including creation, review, approval, release, and updates.
  • Maintain current and accessible engineering data within Teamcenter PLM.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure models and drawings meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor model and drawing status, report progress to project stakeholders, and identify risks related to documentation control.
  • Review and update drafting standards and TDP requirements.
  • Provide Teamcenter support and training to project team members.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation and configuration management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, document control, configuration management, or engineering data management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as CREO or NX preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience with ground-based military vehicles preferred.
  • Ability to support a fast-paced environment and manage multiple documentation priorities.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
