About Shades By Design
Shades By Design is a leader in luxury window treatments, motorized shading systems, pergolas, outdoor living solutions, wallpaper, and custom architectural finishes. We design, supply, and install premium products for luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, and multifamily projects throughout Florida, the Caribbean, and beyond.
We’re seeking an organized, proactive Project Manager to lead projects from contract approval through final installation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, coordinating teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities
·      Manage projects from approved sale through final installation and closeout.
·      Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and installation timelines.
·      Coordinate with clients, Account Managers, designers, vendors, installers, warehouse staff, and subcontractors.
·      Conduct site visits to verify measurements, scope, and job-site readiness.
·      Review project details before ordering and track procurement, lead times, and deliveries.
·      Coordinate permits, engineering, HOA approvals, and COIs when required.
·      Schedule installation crews and ensure materials are ready before installation.
·      Manage project costs, change orders, invoicing milestones, and documentation.
·      Coordinate motorization and automation systems, including Lutron, Crestron, and Somfy
·      Perform quality control inspections, manage punch lists, and conduct final walkthroughs.
·      Maintain accurate records in QuoteRight and proactively resolve project issues.
Qualifications
·      3+ years of project management experience in construction, custom homes, architectural products, window treatments, outdoor shading, or a related industry.
·      Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
·      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
·      Experience coordinating clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
·      Ability to read plans and construction drawings.
·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM or project management software is a plus.
