Based in sunny Southern California, our Retail Support Center (RSC) is the heart of our corporate operations, dedicated to supporting both our retail and online stores. The RSC is where strategy meets execution. From trend forecasting to tech innovation, our teams work together to bring the Tillys experience to life - both in-store and online.
Position Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Graphic Design & ProductionCoordinator to support our E-Commerce Department.
Key Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
  • Conceptualize and create apparel graphics from conception through final print-ready art files including but not limited to sizing, placement on body and printer settings

• Have a strong understanding of print production, Illustrator and Photoshop file building and manipulation, and approval process for printable categories
• Strong knowledge of the marketplace, trends, competitor product and the needs of the Tillys customer
  • Maintain a strong sense of the Tillys customer design aesthetic through all design work
  • Research inspiration and keep abreast of relevant trends, sales information and the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with the design department to develop and execute weekly deliverables
  • Interpret trend boards and design direction in order to develop graphic
  • Partner with designers to ensure a cohesive collection
  • Coordinate with brands and licenses for design approvals
  • Prepare print-ready artwork files and production settings
  • Assess and troubleshoot samples
  • Develop and execute on ideation, building brand awareness and bringing our brand to life
  • Maintain project libraries and organize graphics by season and concept

Qualifications
Your experience brings:
  • Exceptional skills in illustration and typography
  • Strong and relevant knowledge of trends in fashion and culture
  • Exceptional skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Excel. Must be proficient in all three programs.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills required
  • Highly detailed with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication
  • Apparel industry experience
  • Must be able to work remotely 1 time per week
  • Print on demand experience preferred
  • Production experience preferred
  • Colorgate experience preferred
  • Experience with tech packs preferred

Education & Experience
  • Degree in Graphics Arts or related field
  • 5+ years creating graphic tees

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Professional office setting with low to moderate noise
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 20 lbs and navigate stairs
  • Frequent walking and movement between floors/departments

What to Expect
Schedule: Full-time role with weekday office hours; occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak retail seasons.
Work Location: Irvine, CA - minimum of 4 days per week in-office.
