Job #1958: Design Manager
Job Title: Design Manager (luxury residential)
Position Location: Greater Boston, MA (Hybrid / Remote flexibility)
Approx. Length of Position: Temp-to-hire
Degree Required:ย  Bachelors or Masterโ€™s degree in Architecture, Interiors or relevant experience with luxury high-end residential design
Our client is seeking a highly organized and technically skilled design professional to support a portfolio of luxury residential projects, including a new estate and other high-end residential environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce interior elevations, millwork drawings, and custom furniture details
  • Develop drawing sets in Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Create specification books, finish schedules, and design presentations
  • Coordinate documentation with architects, consultants, and contractors
  • Review shop drawings and technical details
  • Maintain organization across multiple active projects
Required Qualifications:
  • Five (5+) years of luxury residential design, interior architecture, or residential architecture experience
  • Experience producing construction documentation and detailed drawing packages
  • Understanding of millwork, cabinetry, lighting, and residential construction detailing
  • Someone from a high-end residential architecture or interior architecture firm who can translate design concepts into polished, contractor-ready documentation while working closely with the Creative Director.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills

Technical / Software skills:
  • Strong Revit and/or AutoCAD proficiency
  • High-Level of proficiency with putting together and executing rendering and graphic design packages for design review and final client presentation.
