Actively Screening for Lab Assistant to join top medical laboratory in Norcross, GA!

Multiple openings and immediate start! Day and Night shift openings!

Job Description

As a Lab Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various duties assigned by the department, maintaining accurate records and documentation, recognizing unusual results and resolving discrepancies, and communicating unusual occurrences to management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform SATR.
  • Operate P512.
  • Receive and sort boxes.
  • Sort samples.
  • Operate IDETIC as assigned.
  • Conduct sample investigations.
  • Dispose of biohazard materials.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in laboratory settings.
  • Proficient in sample handling and accessioning.
  • Ability to conduct data entry efficiently.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, SOP, and quality control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • BS in Science.

Work Environment

The position is based in a warehouse and laboratory environment. The facility is large, well-lit, clean, and offers a positive working atmosphere. Regular day shift schedules are Sunday to Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or Wednesday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Training schedules may vary based on needs, with Sunday to Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM or Thursday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Norcross, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
