The Heat Treat Processor will ensure the correct products are being processed through build up and break down and that production goals are met, complete all associated paperwork, and will assist the production areas in various tasks including sorting, counting, 5S activities, replenishing supplies, organizing stock, cleaning equipment, and other assignments. May serve as a backup to other positions at the direction of management; other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities - Build Up

  • Distribute blades and cassettes to and from buildup personnel
  • Communicate with scheduler / Ipsen tech to ensure correct blades are available
  • Track daily production on shift report
  • Perform work per work instructions and area metrics
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Inform proper personnel of material shortage
  • Train others in area
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
  • Practice 5Ss

Duties and Responsibilities - Break Down

  • Pull samples from each load per sampling plan, document, and deliver to quality lab
  • Track daily production via weigh scale and fill out load and shift reports
  • Distribute materials to and from breakdown personnel
  • Perform work per work instructions and area metrics
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Inform proper personnel of material shortage
  • Train others in area
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
  • Practice 5Ss

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
