About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Oshkosh, WI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical design for off-highway vehicles, truck subsystems, and new product development, along with the ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for off-highway vehicles
  • Lead and support new product development (NPD) and product enhancement initiatives
  • Coordinate technically with customers to understand requirements, estimate design efforts, and plan engineering activities
  • Develop and validate designs to ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturing readiness
  • Work closely with offshore teams for part design and development activities
  • Support truck subsystem and component development
  • Ensure timely delivery of design activities with minimal customer supervision

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in mechanical/design engineering
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems for off-highway vehicles
  • Proven experience in truck subsystem and component development
  • Hands-on experience with Zuken CATIA V5
  • Working knowledge of Windchill PLM
  • Experience in customer coordination and technical discussions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
