ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through production.

Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and product documentation.

Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, and design reviews.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing.

Support prototype fabrication, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and cost-reduction initiatives.

Investigate and resolve product performance, reliability, and production issues.

Manage multiple engineering projects while meeting schedules, budgets, and performance objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

2+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.

Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation.

Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings and applying GD&T principles.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.

Experience supporting prototype builds, testing, and product validation activities.

Familiarity with engineering calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and root cause analysis.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
