Job description

The locally, well-known and regarded design/build firm of RW Adler Builders (Affiliated with Robert W. Adler & Associates, Architects) is seeking a Construction, Project Manager. The company focuses on high-end residential and light commercial work and has several, exciting, new projects to begin right away. There is health insurance, 401(k) and competitive salary opportunities.

The successful candidate will be a Project Manager on single or multiple construction projects with a strong working knowledge the construction process.

Responsibilities on-site and in the office include the following (not limited to):
• Provide technical functions such as scheduling, subcontractor planning and coordination, cost/value engineering, and general project administration.
• Assist in management of project processes including RFI's, submittals, daily reports and photos.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors on-site.
• Trades and project close-out and confirm that all subcontracted work has been completed.
Skills/Qualifications:
• 5 years of construction and construction management experience in commercial and residential construction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
• Good management and mediation skills
• Strong working knowledge of building materials, methods, fabrication and installation
• Quick study of new means and methods
