The Design Build Project Manager role combines client service leadership with pursuit and project execution support, helping public owners deliver bestvalue municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. Responsibilities

ย  ย Lead the evolution of Carollo's East Coast Collaborative Delivery (DesignBuild, Progressive DesignBuild, P3) strategy with both sales and project execution responsibilities ย  ย Work closely with Design-Build Technical Practice team in guiding pursuits and project execution in the regionย  ย  ย Contribute intellectual leadership on DB and P3 best practice to strengthen the Carollo Design-Build Technical Practice ย  ย Actively participate in pre-marketing and positioning for competitive procurements with Owners and contractors ย  ย Cultivate existing and new regional contractor relationshipsย  ย  ย Support pursuit strategy and proposal development/preparation as part of the Client Service team for collaborative delivery clients. ย  ย Lead the identification, vetting and risk management for subcontractors and sub-consultants ย  ย Lead commercial terms review and assessment with Risk Management (prime contacts, teaming agreements, subcontractor agreements, etc.) ย  ย Support Carollo industry leadership through participation in relevant industry organizations such as WDBC, DBIA

Qualifications

ย  ย Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, construction management, or related field of study ย  ย 15+ years of experience engaged in project execution and marketing for water-wastewater and infrastructure projects ย  ย 5+ years of hands-on project experience on design build and P3 delivery methods ย  ย Well-networked in the water collaborative delivery space, with demonstrated industry organization roles ย  ย Familiarity with East region DB and P3 regulatory and procurement environments (New England, Liberty Northeast/NYC Metro, MidAtlantic, Southeast). ย  ย Well-versed in contract negotiations with Owners, DB General Contractors and DB Design Subcontractors ย  ย Proven team leader with excellent communication skills ย  ย An understanding of how technology is changing the collaborative delivery sector with eagerness and curiosity about harnessing tech for greater efficiency in this sector.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Registration as a PE, PMP, or CMAAย

Compensation Range

$170,000 to $230,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs
