Our client is an industrial construction specialist that is looking to add a Assisatnt Porject manager to their team. This role oversees all aspects of preconstruction and construction project management from initial planning through final completion. The position is responsible for coordinating project activities, aligning deliverables with client expectations, and ensuring all functional, quality, and performance standards are met.
* Manage multiple construction projects at once.
* Participate in design-build project planning, design programming, and development of project outline
specifications
* Oversee project design team and responsible for management of design-build construction
* Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates.
* Coordinate project bidding efforts, generate scopes of work
* Manage submittal process to ensure materials are procured
* Manage supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers
* Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
* 1-3+ years of New Jersey Commercial / Industrial Project Management experience (not residential)
* Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD)
* Ability to travel to job site locations as needed.
* Site work experience, ability to manage multiple projects at once
* Warehouse, Big-Box, tilt-up experience
* Experience working with Procore, estimating, and contracts
