Overview

Unity's Environmental Design and Sales position is an excellent opportunity for a professional who wants to join a growing fast-paced company. We are seeking a motivated individual with knowledge and experience in environmental sales/design, marine construction, stormwater management, and erosion control.

Unity Landscape Design Build is a full-service landscape design and installation company located in Church Hill, Maryland. For over 30 years, we have been providing environmentally friendly marine construction and high-end landscape design/build services. Our attention to detail and diversity of service has made us the "go-to" firm for environmentally conscientious clientele.

Core Responsibilities

· Meet with clients, provide estimates for environmental design services, provide professional estimates for contract work, provide billable design services, permitting, organize project implementations and oversee project implementation

· Establish relationships with local Counties, Environmental organizations, River Keepers and related entities for project collaboration and growth

· Provide Permitting services and collaborate with surveyors, soils scientists and engineers as needed for design and permitting needs

· Regular offering of articles and input for company websites, social media avenues and newsletter

· Attend required trainings, certifications, etc. as required to provide the essential functions of the position

· Attend training sessions as requested by President and COO

Qualifications and Competencies

· Ability to develop plans in CAD or Vectorworks with a minimum of three years’ experience

· Proficient in extracting take offs and developing detailed estimates from plans

· Experience providing oversight of environmental construction projects

· Minimum of three years of sales experience in the environmental construction field

Education

· Environmental Science related four-year degree or equivalent relevant field experience

Schedule, Compensation and Benefits

· Full-time, 40 hours per week minimal, plus additional hours required as needed during peak times, to be balanced throughout the year during Winter months

· Competitive salary and commission is commensurate with experience ($70,750.00-$102,000.00)

· Competitive benefits include but are not limited to paid vacation, health insurance, and IRA retirement plan.
