Job Description:
This position requires hands-on training, the ability to effectively manage and oversee a project from start to finish. The ability to use a solution-oriented mindset when working through setbacks, and a good work ethic.
***This SkillBridge Opportunity requires you to live reasonably close to Perry, Georgia and requires travel to different site locations in and around many locations like South Carolina; Jacksonville, Fl; Kings Bay, Ga; Atlanta, Ga; San Antonio, Tx; Houston, Tx***
***It is estimated that you will travel 25% of the time with 10% of travel remaining overnight.***
Responsibilities:
Project Manager:
  • Learn how to conduct and manage a project from cradle to grave
  • Ensure daily reports are received and submitted
  • Record and take meeting minutes on all meetings On Design
  • Build projects hold design review meetings with subs and ensure subcontractor review and approval prior to submission to customer
  • Quality and Accountability drop in inspections on Superintendents and projects under your management
  • Weekly SITREP reports to the Program Manager Brief overview of each project covering all current and upcoming aspects of the project
  • Conduct closeout procedures
  • Maintain a professional appearance, working relationship with clients, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, etc.
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs.
  • Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors, clients, vendors, etc.
  • Thoroughly know and understand project plans, specs, scope of work, submittals, phasing, and schedule for your project.
  • Perform pre-work survey of ALL existing conditions.
  • Provide detailed daily reports to the PM daily, as well as customer if required.
  • Set performance goals and deadlines to meet 3-week look ahead
  • Maintain construction schedule and plan construction processes
  • Maintain project budget and ensure no overrun.
  • Schedule safety and toolbox talks with subcontractors as needed
  • If required, order equipment and arrange for regular maintenance as needed
  • Photograph, monitor, report, inspect, and documents project progress
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.

Requirements:
Knowledgeable in working with Project Software; Redteam, Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.Ensure project quality, and that job remains safe, clean, and orderly. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills.
