Job Summary:
Process projects. Prepare and conceptualize sketches, layouts, and schematics on a job to job basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements from customers and develop design solutions
  • Prepare bills of materials
  • Design and develop cost analysis, test, handle implementation, analysis of products, systems, and new technology
  • Produce approval drawings and manufacturing drawings
  • Design software test for special applications
  • Process feedback from manufacturing
  • Assist marketing, manufacturing, and field service with engineering-related issues
  • Organize instruction manual
  • Research STD data base
  • Manage projects and design review system
  • Improve computers and design software
  • Develop and maintain engineering standards/processes

Skills and Experience:
  • 4-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Spec interpretation, logic diagrams, electrical theory, understanding of a PC design workstation
  • Electrical Theory, Pro-E, AutoCad, Thermal Analysis, PC, analysis

Tools/Equipment:
Corporate network and other engineering software. Oscilloscope and other measurement tools.
Education and Training:
BSEE or BSME REQUIRED
