Job description

About the Role

As an Assistant Designer, you will support Design leaders in creating an assortment that aligns with brand positioning and target customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, create and maintain tech packs, trim sheets and design packages

  • Ensure accurate data entry into Product Lifecycle Management 

  • Assist in meeting preparation and breakdown, including room setup, samples, reports and creating boards and line sheets

  • Gather and analyze market and trend research

  • Ensure understanding of the supported brand, foster innovation and remain updated on the competition

  • Complete pre-packages as a part of the research and development process 

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Familiarity and moderate proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Ned Graphics, Kaledo or related program

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field

  • Previous retail experience

  • Previous experience in design or product accessory business and the competitive landscape

  • Domestic travel may be required
