Assistant Project Manager will assist DGS in delivering DCPS capital projects by providing technical oversight, schedule and budget management, stakeholder coordination, field monitoring, and portfolio management. Required qualifications:
  • Qualified professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in organizing and managing a range of construction projects from beginning to end.
  • Demonstrated success managing capital and/or public-sector construction projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects of varying scales and complexity.
  • Full project lifecycle experience: planning, procurement, design, permitting, construction, turnover, and warranty.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with multiple agencies, contractors, design teams, and community stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and support decisionโ€‘making.
  • Familiarity with public sector project types, standards, and processes.

This is a fulltime onsite position.
