Since 1994, Design Air Inc. has been a trusted, locally owned HVAC company serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys. Residential HVAC Service Technician

Compensation: $32.00-$42.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:30 AM-4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform service, repairs, and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Complete annual system inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment cleanings
  • Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems, airflow issues, heat pumps, and mini-split systems
  • Troubleshoot and work safely with both low-voltage and high-voltage electrical components
  • Communicate with customers regarding repair recommendations, system upgrades, and replacement options
  • Support and mentor junior service technicians as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC service experience
  • Commercial HVAC service experience is preferred
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of HVAC system design and ductwork modifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable, insurable driving record

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
