Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our state-of-the-art Surgical Center in Elgin, where collaborative teamwork is emphasized. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured schedule conducive to maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and document comprehensive medical histories of patients.
  • Assist board-certified physicians in diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, employing the latest dermatological practices.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures including suturing and skin biopsies, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety.
  • Deliver detailed patient education regarding skincare routines and preventative measures for skin diseases.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, adhering to clinical guidelines and considering patient preferences.
  • Order, interpret, and explain laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to patients to ensure understanding of their health status.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Radiance Skin Dermatology, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, ranging from children to seniors, requiring treatment for various dermatological issues. Qualifications
  • Active Physician Assistant Certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, with a strong emphasis on dermatology.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
