Job description

Goodman Dermatology, an AQUA Dermatology portfolio practice, is the largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast. It offers medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care, and radiation oncology.
We seek a Front Desk Lead who is responsible for ensuring adequate, high-quality patient care, leading and supporting team members, and upholding the practice's vision and mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Partners with leadership, providers, and staff to manage operations of assigned practice location(s), including patient care and retention, personnel management, and workflow of the office and clinical team members.
  2. Monitors and maintains performance practice standards; meets defined target standards for several patient appointments, staffing productivity, patient experience, and other business performance standards.
  3. Implement policies and procedures that ensure efficient operations supporting administrative and clinical functions.
  4. Identifies and applies cost-saving and revenue-enhancing opportunities.
  5. Manages the inventory of supplies, equipment, technology, and other resources essential to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the practice's efficient operation.
  6. Evaluate the performance of all office team members, effectively communicating, giving timely feedback, and empowering team members to do their jobs well.
  7. Assists in onboarding by training and evaluating new team members.
  8. Assumes responsibility for patient flow processes. Strategies to improve efficiency and eliminate barriers that impact patient care.
  9. Provides coverage for Front Desk Specialist and/or Medical Assistant as needed.
  10. Works well in a team environment, building and maintaining strong working relationships to accomplish everyday tasks collaboratively.
  11. Adheres to the AQUA Dermatology Mission Statement, Credo, and Service Goals and Values; always provides exceptional customer service.
  12. Cultivates a culture of compliance that adheres to local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
  13. Other duties as assigned

LOCATION: Roswell
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
  • Full-Time
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7 am - 5 pm

SUPERVISORY
This position supervises administrative practice team members (if assigned), the Clinical Supervisor, and the Front Desk Supervisor (if assigned) at their assigned location(s).
TRAVELTravel between Goodman Dermatology Practice locations may be required for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Two to five years of management or supervisory experience in a medical office is preferred. Has an understanding of dermatology office protocol and procedures, and can effectively lead a team in a dermatology office.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills
Work Style: Must be able to work well independently, but ask for help when needed. Ability to analyze and interpret information and interact and decipher information telephonically and electronically.
